Thai cosmetics are renowned in various international markets, especially in terms of local herbs that are used as ingredients, according to Ms. Lucksupha Prabhawat, President of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association which was formed from several Thai SMEs in the beauty industry from the upstream, midstream and downstream levels.

“Thailand has an abundance of medicinal herbs that are in demand globally. This has been an ongoing trend since the start of COVID and will continue for the next 2-3 years. Therefore, beauty entrepreneurs should be aware of this trend and pivot accordingly to grasp business opportunities.”
