As the lockdown policies are relaxed and more logistics are resumed, the positive effect on the electrical and electronics industry is evident. The Office of Industrial Economics (OIE) has disclosed key industrial trends for the third quarter of 2020 that the electricity industry had already bottomed out in the second quarter, and it is expected that the production index and export value will slightly improve by 1.0% and 1.5% respectively in the third quarter of 2020. At the same time, the electronics industry is expected to have a slight increase in the production index and export value at 2.9% and 1.9% respectively due to the natural upward cycle. This positive curve is also contributed by the increasing demand for electronic products as a result of the development of 5G technology, data centers and requirements for IT infrastructure foundation.
