An important opportunity has widened for entrepreneurs in the electronics industry as the Department of Trade Negotiations has announced that Thailand was ASEAN’s no.1 exporter of electronics and accessories, with the total value of USD 3,943 million in the first trimester of 2020 due to an increasing demand globally to conduct activities through online platform. In 2019, Thailand was the world’s sixth largest exporter of computer and accessories after China, EU, USA, Mexico and Hong Kong, as well as ASEAN’s no.1. Moreover, IMF had forecast that Thailand’s GDP in 2021 will bounce back and grow 6.1%, whereas KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited has forecast that Thailand’s GDP in 2021 could grow back to 7%.
