Nowadays, consumers are very active about the environment and the use of renewable energy. This is evident from the Paris Agreement which aims to reduce carbon emissions by 2030, or a major oil-producer such as Saudi Arabia which aims to utilize renewable energy to partially replace fossil fuels. The information from Krungthai Compass indicates that in Thailand, the government has planned to drive investment projects in solar power generation as reflected in the first revised edition of Thailand's power capacity development plan for the year 2018-2037. One such project is called “Solar-Corporate PPA” - a business model that invests in generating and distributing electricity from solar power according to the order from the building/site owners. Currently, the number of Solar-Corporate PPA operators in Thailand is very small as it is still in the early stage. Therefore, if opens the opportunity for new operator to enter the business while the competition is low and the potential for future growth is high since target consumers come from factories in the industrial estates and private residences.
